Avocado Lemon Juice Toasted Bread

One of the easiest recipes ever, and it’s as filling as any toasted bread, and it’s so much healthier than spreading butter!

Yes, avocado has always been a great replacer for butter, but with a lemon juice, it’s seriously divine. This was actually one of my dad’s recipes from years ago and I had always been eating it, because it tastes so good! Oh, and you cannot omit the salt and pepper, it really adds the flavour.

Try and make this if you can, it’s so filling and good!

Avocado Lemon Juice Toasted Bread

1 slices whole grain/wheat bread
1/4 avocado
A squirt of lemon juice
1-2 sprinkles ground black pepper
1-2 sprinkles Himalayan/sea salt

Toast the bread in a toaster oven or oven until both sides have browned (but not over cooked).

Use a butter knife and spread the avocado on like you would butter. Then, add a squirt of lemon juice on the bread to cover the entire surface. Finally, add a couple of sprinkles of salt and pepper. Serve while it’s still hot (preferred).

Avocado on toast is seriously one of my favourite things. Toast, avocado, salt, pepper, and fresh tomato. One of life’s simplest and greatest pleasure :)
