They say that oatmeal is great for breakfast, here I’m introducing oatmeal cookie dough bites for breakfast! I was inspired to do this because I made this oatmeal cookie yesterday and I was like, HEY THE DOUGH tastes great, I should make one just for that. So alas, I did!

It’s funny that you can combine a group of ingredients, and it comes out so deliciously sinful, and doesn’t feel like it’s something that should be all that healthy, yet most of the ingredients are in fact quite healthy if eaten in moderation!

Isn’t it a dream come true eating something like this first thing in the morning? What about giving your kids this without feeling guilty?

This is the reason why I love cooking, EATING IT AFTERWARDS!!!

Breakfast Raw Oatmeal Cookie Dough Bites

3/4 cup old fashioned oats, ground into a flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon semi sweet vegan chocolate chips or carob chips (Enjoy Life, Sunspire are great brands)
1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon molasses or pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon coconut milk powder (shredded coconut is fine too)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

If you don’t have oat flour, put about 3/4 cups of old fashioned oats into the blender and blend until it forms a flour.

Add all the ingredients in a large bowl and stir at first, then knead it with your (clean) hands until it becomes a lump. Split it up and enjoy!

    Made these with coconut butter as a substitute for almond butter, and rolled them in shreded coconut at the end. They were “gone in 60 seconds”! Hehe
