Mmm, nothing beats crispy kale chips with a strong cheese taste! Well, almost!

I’ve made kale chips before but making them cheezy just takes them to a whole new level! Seriously, these are so good and really makes a great snack! If only I grew up with kale chips, I probably would not have needed to even have a bite of regular chips!

Crispy Cheezy Kale Chips

4 cups kale
2 tablespoons cashew butter (almond butter is fine too)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
A few sprinkles Himalayan/Sea salt

If your kale is in one large stem, chop it in small pieces. Place it on an oven tray and let it air dry (which will take longer), pat dry with some paper towels or put it in front of a fan. This way, they won’t turn out soggy.

Preheat oven to 300°F (148°C).

In a bowl, mix the olive oil, cashew butter, nutritional yeast, garlic powder and salt. Cover the kale with this mixture and make sure it’s evenly coated – you might want to run your hands through it to mix it thoroughly.

Bake for about 25 minutes or a bit more until they’re crispy. Be sure to check because every oven is different!
