About

Divine Healthy Food is a vegan blog, focusing on plant based foods.

I’m Susanna, and I love eating. I love eating so much that I completely almost destroyed my health once up on a time, by eating mostly bad foods, until I started getting all types of side effects, such as headaches and heart palpitations. Today, I eat mostly a vegan diet, and I’m thriving on it. I feel so much healthier and happier than ever. Best of all, I have learned that eating vegan is just as enjoyable as anything else, yet at the same time, I try and make my foods as nourishing as they could be.

My Food philosophy:

Eating should be enjoyable and nourishing. We should eat for health and nothing else.

One of the things I have always wanted to do was to make a difference. If I could use one of my experience, good or bad, to help someone else, then I feel that my life is worthwhile. This is what I truly feel my purpose is.

Some of my hobbies: Creativity, Wuxia and Ancient Chinese Series, my hobby website: Wuxia Edge, music, Anime and games.

Your recipes look amazing and I’m dying to try them! Quick question though: most of the recipes I see need a blender and I’m trying to decide which kind I should get as I don’t know anything about the different kind of blenders… What do you recommend?

I am not vegan and have always been confused by what exactly there was to eat on a vegan diet, especially in terms of protein (a common argument I’m sure you’re tired of hearing). Your site has been very informative, thank you. Although I don’t think I could ever be completely without meat, I do like the idea of healthy eating and have bookmarked many of your recipes as they sound and look delicious. I do have a question, however, as I am curious about the budget it takes for these recipes. It seems quite expensive as the ingredients you use are both many and (perhaps slightly) uncommon (not in a negative way, of course). Do you have any tips with regards to cost effectiveness?

Hi there :D :D I’m so glad you find this site informative! I’m actually not completely vegan either, hehe!!
About the budget, I think it helps when you buy in bulk at wholesale stores, esp for nuts, flours and such. Usually they are a lot cheaper and if you’re using a lot, it works out better overall :D

I miss homecook Chinese meals and food sometimes. I love your blog and your recipes will add a nice variety. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion!
